Posing conveys so much about a character’s personality, mood, and story, and is a vital part of visual storytelling.
Teaming up with our talented life models, you will learn traditional life drawing techniques with a focus on capturing models with props, armour, and costumes in fantastical and story driven poses.
In this class, you will:
- Be guided through a fantasy-themed life drawing class with a costumed model
- Learn figure drawing techniques
- Gain an understanding of human anatomy and how it interacts with a variety of materials
- Learn how to effectively pose characters to convey meaning and story
What to bring:
- Your preferred paper and drawing materials. Some basic materials are available if needed!
Light refreshments as well as teas/coffee will be provided.
Accessibility:
The venue is accessible with elevator access and no steps into the building. Please get in touch or leave a note in your order for any specific questions/requests and we will do our best to accommodate you!
As with all our workshops, we are open to all skill levels. You are welcome whether you are a complete beginner looking to learn, or a professional keen to try new things.
