Life Drawing with a Magical Twist!
Life drawing has long been a foundational practice of classical art and is regarded as the best way to learn to draw the human form. However, most life drawing classes focus on static poses without intention or meaning. These are great for learning human anatomy, but what do they tell you about the character?
Teaming up with our talented life models, you will learn traditional life drawing techniques with a focus on capturing models with props, armour, and costumes in fantastical and story driven poses.
In this class, you will:
- Be guided through a fantasy-themed life drawing class with a costumed model
- Learn figure drawing techniques
- Gain an understanding of human anatomy and how it interacts with a variety of materials
- Learn how to effectively pose characters to convey meaning and story
What to bring:
- Your preferred paper and drawing materials, but basic materials are available if needed.
- Your awesome self. All skill levels welcome!

Light refreshments, teas, and coffee will be provided.
